What is Pilates?
Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, after whom it was named. Pilates called his method "Contrology".
Through Pilates you explore and learn about your body so that you can stay safe when hiking the Boulder beautiful trails, climbing, skiing, or any other movement you wish to explore.

Can anyone practice Pilates?
Yes! The Pilates method has something for everybody. From beginners, to professional athletes. Whether you are recovering from an injury or healing postpartum, training for a marathon or just looking to take care of your body. I offer prenatal Pilates, Injury recovery Pilates, and Pilates for athletes.

What do we do in a Pilates session?
In our Pilates sessions we will work to balance strength and flexibility, create awareness in breathing, and develop more body control. My ultimate goal is to help you feel free and strong to live in and with your body. Living in Boulder offers so many physical activities, and in our session we will get stronger and smarter with our movement so that we can stay injury free while enjoying all other activities.
